Terms of Use

Please read these Terms carefully before using Takhmeena.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and MUCO Apps ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the Takhmeena (تخمینہ) mobile application and this website (together, the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1Acceptance & eligibility

By using the App you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or that a parent/guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf) and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the App on behalf of an organisation, you accept these Terms for that organisation.

2What Takhmeena is

Takhmeena is a suite of financial estimate calculators focused on Pakistan, including (among others) income tax, freelancer/IT-export tax, PTA mobile registration duty, electricity and gas bill estimates, solar system sizing and cost, zakat, usher, and property and vehicle taxes. The App is a convenience and educational tool that performs calculations from values you enter and from reference rates we provide.

The App is designed to work offline. From time to time it may download an updated set of reference values (such as tax slabs and tariffs) so estimates stay current, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3Estimates, not advice

All outputs of the App are approximations and estimates generated for general informational purposes only. They are not:

• financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice;
• an official assessment, bill, tax return, valuation, or fatwa;
• a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or the relevant authority.

You should independently verify any figure and consult a qualified advisor (such as a tax consultant, accountant, lawyer, scholar, or your utility provider/bank) before acting on it. You are solely responsible for any decision you make.

4Accuracy & no guarantee

We work to keep the App's rates, slabs and prices reasonable and reasonably current, but tax laws, utility tariffs, government duties, commodity and equipment prices, and market conditions in Pakistan change frequently and can vary by city, region, provider, vendor, and time. As a result, the App's estimates may be incomplete, outdated, or differ — sometimes significantly — from your actual bill, tax liability, or the prices available in the market.

We give no warranty or guarantee of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness of any estimate, and we make no legal guarantee of any kind regarding the results.

5Brand & price references

The App may reference third-party brand, product, or model names (for example solar panels, inverters, batteries, or mobile phone models) and indicative price ranges associated with them. These references exist only to help you estimate typical prices or taxes and are presented neutrally.

• Such references are not sponsored, paid, or promotional content, and do not imply any partnership, endorsement, or affiliation between us and any brand.
• We do not sell, recommend, or guarantee any product, and any indicative prices are estimates that may not match real market prices.
• All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and estimation purposes only.

6Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; (c) interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the App or its update service; (d) remove or obscure any proprietary notices; or (e) resell, rent, or commercially redistribute the App or its data without our written permission.

7Advertising

The App is free and supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the App you understand that ads will be displayed and that the AdMob SDK may process limited device information as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services advertised; your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

8Free app, no purchases

Takhmeena is provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payments of any kind within the App. We will never ask you to pay or to enter payment details inside the App. If you ever encounter a screen inside Takhmeena asking for payment, do not provide any details and contact us — it is not a legitimate part of the App.

9Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, text, calculation logic, the "Takhmeena" name and logo, and other content (excluding third-party trademarks), is owned by MUCO Apps and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. No other rights are granted.

10Third-party services & links

The App relies on third-party services (such as Google AdMob, the Apple App Store, Google Play, and our hosting/content-delivery provider) and may link to external websites (such as official government portals). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, sites, or content, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

11Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any estimate will meet your requirements or correspond to actual amounts.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUCO Apps and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App or reliance on any estimate — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In particular, we are not liable for any tax penalty, surcharge, overpayment, underpayment, billing dispute, purchase decision, or other loss resulting from reliance on the App's estimates. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App, which is zero (the App is free).

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MUCO Apps from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any estimate in violation of Sections 3–4.

14Changes to the App & Terms

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature (including reference data) at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be highlighted in the App or on this site. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3–5 and 9–13) will continue to apply.

16Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and the courts of Pakistan shall have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

17App store terms

If you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. For Apple devices, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and MUCO Apps only (not Apple); that Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App; and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these Terms. Similar provisions apply to Google for the Android version.
