Rates and prices change often. If a slab, tariff, or price looks off, email us with the calculator name, what you entered, and the figure you expected — and a source if you have one. We'll review and update.
Remember: every number in Takhmeena is an estimate, not an official figure. Always check current market prices and confirm with the relevant authority (FBR, NEPRA, OGRA, PTA, provincial Excise, your bank or utility) before acting. See our Terms of Use.

Takhmeena is built to be as realistic as possible — for example, the income-tax engine uses the official FBR salaried slabs, and the electricity and gas estimates are modelled on published NEPRA/OGRA tariffs and checked against real bills.
That said, every result is an estimate. Real bills and tax amounts depend on factors that vary by month, area, provider, and individual circumstances (fuel-price adjustments, taxes, surcharges, exemptions, and more). Use Takhmeena to plan and understand — not as an official bill or tax assessment — and always verify before you pay or file.
Some differences are normal. Utility bills include monthly variables such as fuel-price adjustments, quarterly tariff adjustments, arrears, instalments, TV fee, and local taxes that an estimate can't always know in advance. Tax outcomes can change with exemptions, rebates, multiple income sources, or mid-year rate revisions.
If the difference seems very large or you think a base rate is wrong, please email us the details so we can check it.
Yes. All calculations run on your device, so Takhmeena works without an internet connection. The only time it needs the internet is to occasionally download updated reference rates and prices (and to load ads). If you're offline, it simply keeps using the last rates it downloaded.
None that identifies you. There's no sign-up and no account. The salary, units, or values you enter are used only to calculate on your device and are never sent to us. Preferences and any saved history stay on your phone.
The free app does show ads through Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Reference values — such as tax slabs, electricity and gas tariffs, and solar/equipment price estimates — are based on publicly available information and official notifications. The app downloads an updated set from our servers from time to time so estimates stay current; you can see the last "Rates updated" date on the home screen.
Prices in the open market change constantly, so treat indicative prices as a starting point and confirm current prices with actual sellers.
Takhmeena is completely free, and ads (served via Google AdMob) help keep it that way. There are no in-app purchases or paid versions, so there is currently no option to remove ads.
You can control ad personalization on your device: on iOS via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and on Android via Settings → Google → Ads. Declining personalization still shows ads, just non-personalized ones.
No. Takhmeena is free and has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payments inside the app. We will never ask for payment or card details within Takhmeena. If you ever see such a prompt inside the app, don't enter anything and please report it to us.
Because everything is stored only on your device, you're always in control:
Settings → Apps → Takhmeena → Storage → Clear data.We don't hold any personal data about you on our servers, so there's nothing on our side to delete.
The income-tax calculator supports multiple FBR tax years, and utility, property, and vehicle calculators cover the main Pakistani providers and provinces. Coverage grows over time. If something you need isn't there yet, tell us and we'll consider adding it.
No. Any brand, product, or model names appear only to help estimate typical prices or taxes. We are not sponsored by, paid by, partnered with, or endorsing any brand, and the content is not promotional. All trademarks belong to their respective owners, and indicative prices are estimates — not offers or recommendations.
